The Showman® Stainless Steel JR Cowhorse Bit with Sweet Iron Chain Mouth – Pony combines classic cowhorse styling with a distinctive chain-style mouthpiece. Featuring durable stainless steel 4.5" cheeks and a 4" sweet iron chain mouth, this bit offers a flexible, articulated design that conforms to the horse’s mouth while creating a more concentrated feel than a traditional smooth mouthpiece. The chain construction provides a unique contact surface for riders looking for a more specialized bit design.
The sweet iron mouthpiece naturally develops a light surface rust when exposed to moisture, which can help encourage salivation and bit acceptance. With its combination of stainless steel cheeks and flexible sweet iron chain mouth, this pony-sized bit adds a distinctive touch to any Western tack collection!
